Local Ranking Solutions is operated by Dan Doyle, based in Wyoming, Michigan. The business provides website design, website redesign, and Google Business Profile help to businesses in West Michigan and across the United States. What information we collect

We collect only the information you choose to submit through the inquiry forms on this website. The form includes both required and optional fields.

We do not collect any other information through the inquiry form. The form also includes a hidden spam-prevention field that is not visible to visitors and is not used to identify you.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry and discuss the services you asked about. That may include replying by email or phone to talk through a free mockup, a website design or redesign, or Google Business Profile help.

The option you select for “what you need” and the page you submitted from are recorded with your inquiry so Dan can understand your request and follow up appropriately.

How we store inquiries

Submitted inquiries are saved in a database that is part of this website’s hosting. Each inquiry record stores the fields described above, along with the date it was created. Inquiry records are not publicly viewable through this website.

To help avoid repeat submissions of the same inquiry, the form checks whether the same email address has submitted within the previous 15 minutes. This is used only to recognize duplicate submissions, not to track you across visits.

Email notifications

After your inquiry is saved, the website sends an email notification to Dan at localrankingsolutions@gmail.com so he can review and respond to your request. The notification includes the information you submitted through the form. Your saved inquiry is retained even if the notification cannot be delivered.

Data retention and security

Inquiries are kept for as long as they are needed to respond to your request and for Dan’s business records. There is no automatic deletion schedule. If you would like your inquiry deleted, you can ask at any time using the contact details below.

Inquiry records are stored in the hosted database described above. Access to the database is limited to Dan as the site owner. This website does not sell or rent the information you submit, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. We have not verified the specific security certifications or data-residency practices of the hosting provider.

Accessing, correcting, or deleting your information

If you have submitted an inquiry and want to see what information we hold, correct something that is wrong, or ask us to delete it, you can contact Dan directly using the details below. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe.

Website analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) on its production domain (localrankingsolutions.com) to understand how visitors find and use the site. GA4 is configured to load only on the production domain and only when enabled by the site owner; it does not load on preview or other non-production domains.

When GA4 loads, it records a page view for each page a visitor opens, including pages reached by in-site navigation, and it records a single “generate_lead” event when an inquiry form submission is successfully saved. Admin pages are excluded from page-view tracking. The lead event includes only fixed, non-identifying values: which inquiry page the submission came from and the service category selected. It does not include your name, email, phone number, message, website input, or any record identifier.

GA4 is a third-party service provided by Google. When GA4 loads, your browser connects to Google, and Google’s own cookies and data practices apply to that measurement. We have not verified Google’s logging, retention, or data-residency practices. Visitors can review Google’s privacy information and use browser tools or Google’s opt-out options to limit GA4 measurement.

Cookies and local storage

The site’s own application code does not set advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies. The only cookies the site’s code is involved in setting are those created by Google Analytics 4 when it loads on the production domain, as described above.

Platform scripts that run as part of how this site is built and served, and the actual cookie behavior of visitors’ browsers, have not been verified. This statement describes only the site’s own application code and is not a claim that no technical data is collected by the hosting platform or its services.

This website does not embed third-party content such as maps, videos, or social media feeds on its pages.

Hosting and third-party services

This website and its database are hosted on Hostinger, the platform this site is built and run on. Inquiry records are stored in that hosted database, and email notifications are sent through the email service built into that platform.

This website loads the DM Sans font from Google Fonts and serves its logo image from Hostinger’s content delivery network. When these resources load, your browser makes requests to those providers, and they may receive technical information such as your IP address as part of that request. We have not verified the logging, retention, or data-residency practices of these providers.

Children’s privacy

This website is intended for business owners and adults contacting Dan about services. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through the form, please contact Dan so it can be removed.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The date of the most recent review is shown at the top of this page.
